Clothes often travel up to 20,000 kilometers before they end up on our shelves and are then worn on average only three times before being thrown away. Not only does this emit a lot of CO2, the waters in the countries of origin are polluted and the disposed textiles rot in nature. In addition, the working conditions in the fashion industry are extremely precarious. But the industry covers up the problems and washes itself green. Fortunately, there are exceptions.
